Gimme Another Break

I've been thinking about making this mix for a while and finally got around to it over "ski week break" in February.  It's an uptempo mix filled with big drums, organic sounds, and silly vocals.  In general it encapsulates some of my favorites artists like DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist, DJ Format, DJ Day, Jon Kennedy, Quantic, Wagon Christ (aka Luke Vibert), Ben Westbeech, Mo Horizons, Ursula 1000, and others.  Hit me up if you want a playlist...

Jon Kennedy Mix

"Jon is unquestionably one of the leading beatsmiths of our era. Ever since Mr Scruff of Ninja Tunes dropped Jon' demo on his radio show in 2000 JK has consistently been bringing beats to make your feet move topped with sweet sweet melodies. Drummer, producer and DJ, Jon's flavour is pure dancefloor candy and has been busy rocking stages worldwide as a DJ and with his live band, the man is always representing the very best in UK based Funk, Soul & Hip Hop beats for your listening pleasure"

I made a little mix of some of my favorite jams of his. Take a listen and go support him if you are so inclined!
